SVG to Present Facebook Live Boot Camp in Los Angeles

For the first time, the Sports Video Group (SVG), in cooperation with Facebook, will be providing working production professionals with a half-day workshop, offering practical tips and best practices on how to make the most out of Facebook Live, the new and exciting, global broadcast tool. Facebook Live Boot Camp will be co-located at LiveTV:LA, the Los Angeles entertainment community’s largest live television production event, on November 17, 2016 at the Sheraton Universal Hotel.

This Boot Camp program will begin on the LiveTV:LA main stage with a keynote conversation between Rob Shaw, Head of Global Sports Media Partnerships at Facebook and Mark Pesavento, SVP, Content Production at FOX Sports Digital, who will offer practical case studies about how Facebook Live has already proven to be a powerful method to connect with sports fans. The session will be followed by a deep-dive, three-hour workshop about how to most effectively use this transformative broadcast tool for live sports, news and entertainment distribution.
