Brian Robinson

Facebook, Media Research and Audience Development

Brian Robinson leads the Media Partnerships Research Team at Facebook. They work to understand how and why people find and consume news and entertainment content in order to develop best practices, educate partners, and inform product teams about how to best serve content creators. Before joining Facebook in 2014, Robinson led audience development for Yahoo’s media properties and worked as a consultant at the market research firm SmithGeiger. He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from UC Davis and spent the first part of his career working as a programmer and an engineer. He received a master’s degree in playwriting from Yale School of Drama and has spent the past sixteen years telling stories with data.
