Veronica Gibeault

ESPN, Associate Director, Production Operations, LAPC

Veronica Gibeault is a television operations management professional with over 20 years of experience managing operations teams ranging from post production to studio to remote.

Gibeault began her career at WABU-TV in Boston, a commercial television station owned by Boston University. In this role, Gibeault had oversight of technical operations and was also instrumental in establishing an operations process for its live college hockey and basketball broadcasts. Gibeault then went on to WGBH where she managed a large scale post production facility. She played a key role in managing the transition from SD to HD, assisted in research for the PBS Next Generation Interconnect System, and was project manager for several new post production facility builds. Gibeault was also on the committee for the facility’s move to its new location.

For the past ten years, Gibeault’s experience has been in live sports. She is currently an associate director in production operations at ESPN’s Los Angeles Production Center where she has oversight of studio, production control rooms, audio, master control, scheduling, and business continuity. Prior to ESPN, Gibeault was the director of network operations for the New England Sports Network in Boston.

Gibeault earned a M.B.A. degree from the Simmons Graduate School of Management in Boston and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
